The combined fourth and fifth 2019 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Saturday that Ryūhei Tamura will draw a one-shot manga titled "Rappa Rendan" (Chaotic Piano Four Hands) in the magazine's combined sixth and seventh issue on January 7. The magazine noted that the story will focus on a man named Otonashi, who gave up on the way of the piano. The story will have themes of youth and music. The manga will have 55 pages and will have a color opening page.
Tamura drew the Beelzebub manga in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2009 to 2014. The manga inspired a 2011 television anime. Tamura also drew the Hungry Marie manga in Weekly Shonen Jump. That manga launched in February 2017, and ended in October of the same year. Viz Media published the first three chapters in English in its digital Weekly Shonen Jump as part of its "Jump Start" initiative.
