Fairy Tail Creator Lands in France, Accepts Award, & Still Beats Monster Hunter World
posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Doesn't underestimate Hiro Mashima, the Fairy Tail creator is a master of time management. He managed to head to France for the 45th annual Angoulême International Comics Festival last month, accept the Fauve Special Award while attending an exhibition dedicated to his work, and complete Monster Hunter World in the same week.
Mashima headed back to Japan from France on January 30, and then reported he beat Monster Hunter World on February 2. Mashima's successful run used mostly swords, bows, and heavy weaponry but he plans to play again using different weapons.
The multi-platform game was released worldwide on January 26.
Mashima has a lot on his plate besides the latest video game releases. He's working on his next manga set for release this year. The manga creator teased that it will be a new kind of fantasy work with maybe a more serious tone and a cameo by Plue.
