On Friday, Square Enix began streaming an English-subtitled talk show with director Hajime Tabata and marketing manager Akio Ofuji discussing the upcoming games Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Final Fantasy XV.
The PlayStation 4/Xbox One game Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will include a chance for players to try a "Episode Duscae" demo of Final Fantasy XV. The game will cost 6,800 yen (US$63) and bundle the Final Fantasy XV demo in Japan, while the North American release will include a voucher for the demo.
Square Enix describes Final Fantasy Type-0 HD:
Step into the fray as Class Zero, a group of fourteen students from an elite military academy whose country is attacked by an aggressive neighboring Empire. Using the powerful abilities and magic of all fourteen characters in fast-paced action RPG combat, players must face the brutality and injustices of war to uncover the secrets of its genesis.
Type 0 director Tabata is replacing Tetsuya Nomura on Final Fantasy XV, while Nomura will instead focus his efforts on Kingdom Hearts III. Nomura's original contributions to Final Fantasy XV in story, world-building, and characters will still remain.
