Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V Gets SD Spinoff Manga

The official website for Shueisha's Saikyō Jump manga magazine announced that an SD (super deformed) manga series for Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V will begin in the May issue on April 3. Akihiro Tomonaga (Yu-Gi-Oh! D Team Zexal) will draw the series, titled Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V Saikyo Duelist Yūya (Strongest Duelist Yūya).
The tagline reads "You can enjoy the Arc-V story with SD Yūya."
Character designer Naohito Miyoshi drew a one-shot manga for Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V in Shueisha's V Jump magazine last June.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V anime, the fifth main Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series inspired by Kazuki Takahashi's original manga, premiered in Japan last April. The series is slated to debut internationally this spring or summer.
The story is set in Maiami City on the coast of Japan. Yūya is a second-year middle school student who loves to entertain people. Although he is small, he has been training his tough body and Action Duelist arms with weapons. His dream is to become an "Entertainment Duelist" who makes people smile. One day, Yūya ends up fighting an exhibition match with the current champion of Pro Duel world…
