The September issue of Shueisha's Jump Square is announcing on Tuesday that Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign is inspiring an original event anime at this year's Jump Special Anime Festa tour.
The event will visit nine cities in Japan from November 3-15.
In addition to the Seraph of the End original anime, the festival will debut a Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma original event anime and the Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions film trailer. The Tokyo stop will also feature a talkshow with the cast of Haikyu!!. The event will also screen Gintama and Haikyu!!, but it has not confirmed whether or not these will be new original episodes.
The original Seraph of the End manga by novelist Takaya Kagami (The Legend of the Legendary Heroes, A Dark Rabbit Has Seven Lives), manga creator Daisuke Furuya, and manga artist Yamato Yamamoto takes place in a world where an unknown virus has killed the entire human population except for children. Those children were then enslaved by vampires. The manga centers on Yūichirō Hyakuya, a human who dreams of becoming strong enough to kill all vampires.
Funimation streamed the first 12 episodes of the anime adaptation as it aired in Japan from April to June. The second cour will begin in October.
