This year's 29th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed a new key visual for Haikyu!! Concept no Tatakai (Haikyu!! Battle of Concepts), the second of the two upcoming Haikyu!! compilation films, on Monday. The magazine also revealed that the second film, like the first, will have new scenes. In one new scene, Ushijima gives a message to the next generation of Shiratorizawa players. Another new scene is a flashback to Tsukishima's time at training camp. The anime's official Twitter account also posted the new key visual online on Monday.
The first of the two films, Haikyu!! Sainō to Sense (Haikyu!! Genius and Sense, key visual at right), will include new scenes portraying what happens after the match with Aobajōsai High.
Haikyu!! Sainō to Sense will open in Japan on September 15. Haikyu!! Concept no Tatakai will open on September 29. Each film will have a two-week limited screening.
The first movie will portray the match against Aobajōsai High School from the second season. The second movie will cover the match against Shiratorizawa Academy portrayed in the third and latest season. The first movie will feature the following new cast members from Aobajōsai High's volleyball team:
- Mutsuki Iwanaka as Motomu Sawauchi
- Wataru Hatano as Kaneo Yuda
- Daisuke Nakamura as Heisuke Shido
SPYAIR's "I'm a Believer" song from the second season of the television anime series will serve as the theme song for Haikyu!! Sainō to Sense, and Burnout Syndrome's "Hikariare" song from the third season will serve as the theme song for Haikyu!! Concept no Tatakai.
