Superman Actress Margot Kidder Passes Away

Actress Margot Kidder reportedly passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday. She was 69.
Kidder was best known for playing Lois Lane in 1978's Superman: The Movie and its sequels. She also had roles in Sisters (1973), The Great Waldo Pepper (1975), Black Christmas (1974), The Amityville Horror (1979), and Heartaches (1981).
Kidder battled manic depression, which led to financial troubles and a public episode in 1996. However, she returned to acting work to guest star in television shows such as Smallville and Brothers & Sisters. She won a Daytime Emmy in 2015 for R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour.
Kidder narrated the English dub of Panmedia's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz television anime.
