Birmingham Anime Film Festival Will Run From Friday

The 2023 Birmingham Anime Film Festival has confirmed its line-up from Friday September 29 through to Thursday October 5.
Most of the films will be screened at the Mockingbird cinema (directions), although there will be screenings of Perfect Blue and Belladonna of Sadness at the MAC Birmingham cinema (directions).
Some of the anime screenings run simultaneously, including two different strands of films running on Saturday September 30 and two more on Sunday October 1.
Friday September 29
6 p.m. - (MAC Birmingham) Perfect Blue
8 p.m. - Evangelion: 3.0+1.01: Thrice Upon A Time
Saturday September 30
The Makoto Shinkai marathon strand will include the following.
11.30 a.m. - The Place Promised in Our Early Days
1.30 p.m. - 5 Centimeters Per Second double-billed with The Garden of Words
4.30 p.m. - your name.
6.45 p.m. - Weathering With You
9 p.m. - Suzume
The Cult and Classic strand will include the following
1.45 p.m. Lupin III THE FIRST
3.45 p.m. Millennium Actress directed by Satoshi Kon
5.45 p.m. Mirai directed by Mamoru Hosoda
Sunday October 1

11 a.m. - Kiki's Delivery Service
1.45 p.m. - Princess Mononoke
4.45 p.m. - Spirited Away
7.45 p.m. - Howl's Moving Castle
